how many accessories can I tie in to my battery 06 apex

hey guys so far I have my heated windsheild and a hid kit tied in to my battery and i am looking to install a heated seat that will run from the battery to a relay and then power the relay off of my headlight so it will only kick in when the sled is running.. is this to much for my battery or charging system.

HID will use very little. Heated Windshield or Heated Helmet Visor ? . Heated Seat . I think you will be just fine, but all depends on the stress it had ,and how much you keep giving it .

Heated helmet cap
Heated vest
Heated gloves
Heated socks
Full size car radio for tunes
I believe he had HID kit as well. So it can be done . He drove all day with us without any electrical issues.

If you put in the 35w HID kit you will have freed up about 30w on the stator which is more than enough to run a heated seat.

hey guys sorry yes heated visor not windshield..

For the relay off the headlight deal is if you tie your relay in to your headlight the relay will only allow power to the heated seat when the lights turn on so you can never drain your battery if you park the sled and forget to turn the heated seat off. the only power you pull off of your headlight is just enough to open the circuit in the relay to allow power to go from the battery to the heated seat.

how hard is it to remove the seat cover to install that? Been thinking about doing this myself... My seat has a few tears in it and was thinking of replacing or getting repaired, maybe do this at the same time.

There are a few threads talking about seats. Just have to search a bit.

wouldnt be to hard i dont think. id strip mine on one side then install the heated pad then staple it back up. Should be pretty simple

Use ss staples when working on seats.

Don't need anything longer than a 1/4"
