I am tempted to trade or sell my 06 Attak for a Nitro or Rev XP. My problem is everytime I go in my garage I see my Attak and cant help but think how good this sled has treated me. My sled has 3100 trouble free miles on it. THe more I think about it, the more I think Im going to Keep it and just upgrade the rear suspension and ski's. Any body else have these thoughts?

Basing my opinion on Polaris experience, I'd say that updating a suspension on a sled you like otherwise is pretty popular. It's really not that hard to do. There's an incredible number of the GenII sleds that have been updated to the newer Edge suspension out there right now. Guys that have done it love them, and can put off a new sled puchase for a few seasons in many cases. With the price of sleds, the length of the season to run them in, and the state of the times financially in many areas, I think it makes a ton of sense.

Its a keeper

I'm keeping my GT

06 Apex GT

I am keeping my GT! Oh wait I just got it and only put on 120 miles so far. Now my RX-1 I am not sure about. I also have a F7 so one of them has to go..............Brian

I've almost doubled the price of my 06 Attak in repair costs over the last 2 seasons. I'd love to dump it and get something new, but I've put so much $ into it.

Keeping my Apex GT, don't see anything new that would entice a long distance trail cruiser to spend more money.

Keeping my RTX and wait for a new apex in 2009,Fx Nytro is leading the 4 stroke technology and the rev xp will force poo,cat and yam for a slim fast program.Yam got a nice motor in the 2007 R1 bike and got the new light fx Nytro frame.I think we will see something great for 2009....so i am waiting

Keeping my sled... Maybe in a few years i will upgrade.. Even though its hard to improve on perfection..

Keeping my sled for a few more years, don't have to dump it every 2 years like a 2-stroke, these things will last a lifetime. have not had one problem yet beside the handwarmers issue. Just love the sled and can't bare to trade it in. SHES A KEEPER !!!! :4STroke: :yam:

I'm gonna hygearize the rear skid in my 06gt and keep it for 3 more years. Actually the new ad boivin skid looks pretty sweet.

My '06 Attak is gone @ end of next season, going for a Rev XP pending 800R relaibility resolutions & barring any chassis durability probs. I will miss the Yammie quality but I won't mind the 150# weight reduction!
