from what i hear it is somewhere between 66-70 grams.. i would like to get away with the least amount of weight i can and still keep my rpm's down.
is anyone running 62's with a pretty agresive secondary set up?
this is for the mountains.

i am fully aware of that, i just wanted to get an idea on what kind of primary weight guys are running.
when i put the hyperlite secondary on it shifts so fast it is like adding 4 grams or better to your primary.
also on my setup now i just have a 45 deg helix in and that just won't do. i will probably run a 53-49 helix in it

My apex pulls 76 grams at 10000 ft With a Supertorquer secondary with a straight 46 ( Like a 55-42 Cat) Runs 10,300 all day long. I am using 2 speed weights now so In a regular weight you could pull up to 80 grams.

Been running 65gr 8bu's but have the supertips coming that I can run up to 90grams
Dallas what about the reports of the hyperlite cracking? Are they false or have they been fixed? Wanted to run that clutch but the thought of anything coming apart at this hp level is scary.

8bu's 58gr 15m rollers ppp short primary Hiel-x 2nd silver@ 100 straight 46, 9# and 11# mc-x rear 16x159 holtz skid 4500 to 6500 ft trail 10500 rpm, 4 ft bottomless snow 10000 to10100 70mph seedo track speed this is with no run at the hill, so far in the area no sled even comes close, but I'am the only turbo around, and an 03. There is an apex with a suppercharger but they are still trying to dial it in and I have not ridden with them with it yet. So far they say 10# boost and in the same conditions 55 mph speedo track speed climbing.

freak the very first hyperlites had alum tower posts on them and they used to break. all the new ones have steel. i ran one for a couple years and lots of my customers have also and i have had none crack or break anywhere.
i am running the polaris weights and the small rollers in my sled so i would probably be able to run less weight compared to the yammy weights.
how much weight did you guys have to add when going from normally asperated to boosted? i gues that would give me a better idea on how much extra weight to add. normally asperatedi was running 10-54 gram polaris weights. i have aset of 58's here and a set of 62's i think i will try the 62's to star and see where i am.

so here is what i did. i went a bought some 10-62 polaris weights and installed them with the POP primary spring i have and than i loosened off the secondary to 40% and i was pulling 10500 here at home with 7 lbs boost. hoopefully when i get my hyperlite secondary and turn the boost up to 12 i should be just about right in the mountains at 6000-7000 ft elev.
it pulled pretty hard even at 7 lbs i can't wait to try 12.

I am running a paragon secondary and a light(30 lb) primary spring with 52 gram weights. I have only run it once, at 7 psi at 6-8000, and it seemed like it would be right on with a little more boost, it climbed well, but only had about 9600 rpm. I had an exhaust leak that I couldn't get fixed to do any more tuning, but I think it would have worked well with a litle more HP. The track speed was close to 60 at 9600 rpm.
