I have a 06 attak with 1 1/4 track, but was wondering if a 1 3/4 would fit. was planning on trying a little more off trail/ mountain riding in newfoundland this year on my trip. any help would be appreciated

thanks

probly not without removing the protectors. My 1.5 ripsaw use to even rub, I had to trim down the lugs where the tunnels where and then I was allset

So you bought a new track, and then cut off part of the lugs?????
You should have removed or modified the tunnel protectors!!!!!!
I am going to gues that your track won't last as long as it should, an you will start to notice odd vibrations.

removing the protectors is twice the work and if you ever decide to stud then you have a days work reinstalling and welding the protectors back on. trimming the lugs makes no difference on track life. I know guys that have shaved thier 1.75 tracks down to 1.25. All allagashx did was notch the lugs that are over the windows so they wouldnt rub on his protectors anymore. A utility knife and 20 minutes is all you need.

did you notice alot of improvement with 1.5 ripsaw?

allagashx had the 1.5 ripsaw installed before he took delivery of his sled but I will tell you that my 1 3/8 sno pro track is wayyyyy better than the ripsaw, on trail and off trail.

tracks can be destroyed easily in a few miles or made to last thousands. trail and riding conditions are a big part of track life. heat is a major killer when running high speed with low snow. spinning out on roads and rocks kills them.
