I put a new 136 freeride on my phazer and it's tight right now, but not showing any threads out the nuts on the adjuster - just wondering how much the track will stretch - just hoping I can get a couple of threads sticking out the back of the adjusters.

IMo, pretty much everytrack I've ever owned needed a slight adjustment in about 500 miles and then they were good for quite awhile. Besides its not like the phazer puts alot of stress on a track like a Nytro or a Apex. I don't know if I've ever tightened the track on my 07 phazer MTX. I've never noticed ratcheting on it anyway. I run my tracks at stock recommended tension.

If you're out of room on the adjuster bolts you can put on a bigger rear wheel. That should eat up enough room to give you more adjustment.

Just the opposite, i'm up against the front of the slot - the track was pretty stiff putting it in, i'm sure once i run it and it frees up i'll get enough slack for a couple more turns on the adjusters.

I put a new predator track on my 03 RX-1 and had teh exact situation. In fact the track was so tight, I had a very difficult time getting the rear suspension in. I ran it on the stand for awhile, then rode it for about 25 miles and checked it, the track needed adjustment. After the first 500 miles, I adjusted it again, right now, with 1200 miles on it, I have 10 millimeters of thread showing on the adjuster bolt threads. Yours will be OK.
