anyone try running a dry kit w/no extra fuel? seems to me an appex should handle a smaller shot(say 30hp)and be ok.they are already are a little rich on top and have an air temp sensor and map sensor that should compensate for the lack of fuel while being sprayed at w.o.t. in lower elevations.

I like the wet systems, always stayed away from dry.....too many horror stories on cars.

I know what you are talking about. They use such kits on bikes and spray the nitrous in the path of the air box sensor. The airbox sensor then richens up the fuel mixture.

However, I don't believe the Apex's air box sensor reacts in that manner.

Buy a real kit!!
