How tall of riser can I put on the rtx before I need cable extentions and a new brake line?
I believe it is 3 inch stock and being 6 foot 4 standing hunched over doesnt last long before I have to sit down.
I would like to go 4 more inches.

Spoke with owner of Lakeffectsnow risers he has a nytro and he said 5 is the most , stock is 2.5 inches, so you can add another 2.5,,,i ordered a set of 4.5's from him cant wait to install them, finish is great have to wait on the install look till i have them on,,give them a call , nice guy to talk to about other stuff also. Good luck

You will love the lake effect, I put a 6 in on mine with a set of flat bars and its great. I did how ever put the stock bars on it just to see if I could go 6 in with the stock bars and you can with out issue. if you go that highthe only thing I would is move the throttle cable under the bars though

Just keep in mind that your seat will not be high enough if your comfortable standing. I put a 2.5" lake effect on my XTX with the OFT relocator kit and it was great for standing but bad to sit down and ride. I installed a WRP 2+ seat kit and Im very happy. Just be prepared for the snowballing effect to get comfy!

I found the OFT Relocator kit was plenty enough to add sufficient height for stand up riding on my RTX. I have both the relocator and a 4" Lake Effect riser on my MTX, and it's even higher. Both are excellent for stand up riding, but I can't see my speedo on either sled when sitting down. Keep in mind, longer legs also means you probably have longer arms, so it's all relative to a certain degree, but the only way to really know what height you need is to do some measurements, because everyone comes in different proportions and has different riding preferences.

Check out the Roest guage relocator then. Mine has been moved since day one but I can always see my guage.

The setup I am runnin is the pic with the flat doo bars and RSI pad. I have the riser tilted back about 10 or 15deg from straight up. I am just under 6.2 and can just see the speedo. I Do a lot of standing up. Maybe 80% of the time even on trails but sitting down isn't bad. Bottom line is that take the tools with you the first ride out to get it where you want it.

This is exactly what happened to me. OFT relocator on the rtx and it was a little too far away. Got the lake effect 4" riser and it was perfect for standing, but too high for sitting. 2" seat riser and now its perfect for sitting and standing....$500 later lol #$%&*

4" total. Anything more and you need to extend lines/cables. I belive the stock one is 2.5".

On my RS i havent seen the spedo since I bought it it has a 8 inch riser.lol I stand most the time especially on long rides and whoops.
I think I have the 6 kickin around here from the RS. I will see how it works and know what to order. I like the adjustable one from Yammy but not for $280 it goes from 4-6.

Not true at leas on a 2009. Two of My pics there are a 6pm lakeeffect with the stock bars. No extensions needed. Just move the throttle calble under the bars and you have a full range of motion. I will say that I like my break tilted down and that I didn't check it with it infront of the bar. And you the stock are 2.5 and the bars are a 1.5 I think. But im not sure on that, I sold them.

Sorry 6in not 6pm. And also I do not hav the OFT kit on my sled.
