At the beginning of this year a button was supposed to be released to change tunes on the fly. The year came and went and it didn't get released. Is it still coming? If yes when should we expect it?

Yes it is coming. We have worked together to bring active knock control, boost on cluster, tune jukebox, etc and now afr on cluster for guys that want to purchase the afr module. Gap and hurricane are constantly developing technology for the 998.

Lots of great stuff for sure. Please let us know what is going on with the button though. Is there no delivery date at this time... will it be ready in the next week? It's odd it was discussed a long time ago and then silence while other items have gotten released. Just looking for the status on actually delivering it.

The following is from our post made last friday:
Optional button
Release date of the optional Button has been postponed. We have all required material here but we still need to finalize the design. Ergonomics are not 100% to our satisfaction thus not being produced. And for those wondering, it will be a very nice addition which allows switching tunes on the fly while keeping both hands on the handlebars. Brings a smile every time the trail opens up to a nice long stretch in front of you and switching to a more appropriate tune cannot be avoided.

Will it require the flasher to be attached?

Yes, flasher needs to be connected on the sled as the button plugs on its wiring harness.

Got it thanks, this answers my question in other thread.
My only question would be same as most.....ETA?
Or are we basically talking next season at this point?
thank you

Bringing this back to the top in hopes to get a response on ETA. Really hoping this doesn't sit all summer and we don't have it for next year again... or have it 75% of the way through the season.

While the Precesion stuff looks cool, this is all you need and I like it better because you don't have to reach up to the gauge to switch maps.
