Hyfax question?

I tried a set of Skidoo sliders, can remember which model though. They had a little more side to side play, which I wasn't too fond of.

I had heard that they are better quality and last longer, but I quickly discovered they didn't last any longer than the Yammy ones.

Is that the reason you're considering them? longer slider wear?

The best solution is to add 5mm larger diameter idler wheels to the suspension.

I ran the Poo white hyfax last year a part of this year. I just recently changed them out as I was getting paraniod. I still had about 2-2.5mm left in the thinest area's. I'm planning on cutting them in sections and will post. If you use the Poo hyfax, your going to have to work to get them on. The width of the groove is about 2mm narrower that the Yamaha rails, this may not seem like much but trust me it's a workout. I got about 3200 miles on them and was happy with their performance so I figured I stick with them. I do however use the actual Polaris part not aftermarket, the poo ones seem thicker from the start, this may actuall work best and may be the reason for the larger dia wheels. The problem is that I also changed my track to a 128" X 1" fully punched Hacksaw, so it's not a stock to stock comparo.

Tried white slides from 07 switchback. The profile is close but hyfax gets realllll! tight after about 12 inches. My advise is don't bother and spend your money on doo 135 mm wheels. Worked for me. Also, polaris slides seemed to be harder compound when I cut them. Slides are cheaper and easier to change than track clips.

Spend your time and money on 135mm wheels VS other manufacturers slides...Well worth it.
