Just wanted to let everyone know I now have 1600 miles on my original hyfax. I don't have any hyfax savers on or any extra wheels. I installed the slydog bogies on probably 600 miles ago. I have riddem mostly trails and county roads, I have been on alot of plowed roads and low margin snow conditions. I will be changing them because I will be going up for a week next trip but I have no doubt I can easily get 2000 miles out of them. I'm not bragging on this but just wanted to show with my suspension set up what kind of results I was getting.

Mine wore quick. They were down to about 3/8" with only 200 miles on the sled. Since then with the track broke in and loose as I can get it without ratcheting, they have been great. I did 350 miles this weekend on some groomed trails. About 100 miles of near ice conditions with littls snow and they didn't wear appreciably at all.
My complaint now is having to carry the spare set everywhere as I want to see how long they will last before I replace them.
Anyways, origional set now has about 1050 miles on them with the lowest sot on them still having that 3/8" left.
