Ok guys, here is the deal. I ride pretty much at sea level up to 2000 ft and ride strictly in northern Michigan, I am not looking to be the fastest on the lake since 90% of my riding is from corner to corner. I only want to run 5 to 6 pounds of boost and don't really care if it is a supercharger or turbo, I just need the cheapest route to get me there. I have done all the research on the turbo's and the new MPI kit coming out but just want to hear of real world experience with whatever system you have and just how cheap you got into it for. I guess it boils down to what is the cheapest way to get 5 pounds of boost on my 09 Nytro? Thanks for any replies in advance, you have to just love this site and the guys on it.......

Ulmers mid mount stage one trubo kit is $4399. It's 6lbs of boost and comes with alot of stuff...it's probably the best priced kit from what I've seen.

- something from 2019!
you have also got to concider the after the install costs... you will spend more money down the road filling up a supercharger than you will a turbo.
180+ turbo kits can be found on ebay for around 3200-3800 and if you are good with a wrench the install could be free.

My dad and I are installing a Push Turbo Kit right now, he got the summer deal for I want to say $2,900 $3,000. And now theyre going for $3,200 Anyways it was very easy to put it together and mount it on sled plus the kit comes set up to run at 8pounds boost. I would say the Push Turbo would be your best option

Re: I am looking to add only 5 to 6 psi of boost to my Nytro
There was an mpi turbo on ebay going for about $2500. Would need clutching and gauges, but cheap way to go for boost. Just an fyi

Yes, the skid needs to be removed. Entire labor time, at least 10 hours, but was not difficult.
