I Can Breathe!

Still in Crate and working on Phazer so no room for it. Will bring it home this week. Ice should be better next weekend anyway.

I knew you would get on me for the delay. No way I am waiting till Christmas to ride it. Heck we used to have 30 mi or more on our new sleds by Oct in the old days! Alfalfa fields or Hurley last weekend in Oct was a tradition even if just a inch of snow. That was when I had time. Will get'er done soon. Maybe come up by you the weekend of 13th Yamadog.

Sounds great I am leaving in an hour to get trailer to go pick her up and drive it to Hauck

Its home at least. Still need to do alignments and bodywork on Phazer but will be digging in tonight. #500 is about to hit the snow, grass or whatever we have left after this sloppy storm. :-o

Slowly dissecting. I like what I see. Easy to work on. Awesome design everywhere I look so far. Negatives: One stripped bolt, the locking rings on headlight are a bugger to loosen and headlight adjuster needs to be modded for a easier adjustment. Minor so far. On Yamahas end I do not like the coils which use the thread of plug to make contact. The Phazer has a much better coil that is bolted to valvecover and uses solid tip plugs which will not wear and lose contact. On both sides why is there not a simple harness so we can run it with hood off? I see the main harness would plug into guage directly. Can we then just jump start it at Solenoid? Anyone tried? I did find a issue with throttle. Dang Cat guys are trying to slow me down !

LMFAO! @ the throttle block!

Steve, the RX1's had the same coil pack to spark plug design and they seemed to work nice, but I agree with you on the solid top design. Would the Phazer ones work?

You still thinking about wrapping your sled?

Ha! They stole my tool kit too. Gave it back when I told them I wouldnt need it they would! That nut would account for the 94hp rating eh? Insurance didnt seem to care.$300 for a year. I will look whether Phazer ones will work. I dont think so. Different length. Just nitpicking and thinking how nice my Phazer plugs still worked and looked after 11000mi. Need to do the tunnel for sure. Have to find something quick since would rather not wax it before. Sure would like something similar to the AC Sno Pro one but with Blue.

Who is going to be first to plug the main harness into guage and see what happens?

Now I can breathe and quickly! Made first tracks on both sleds tonight. Went down to river but no tracks and it got to late after all my trouble. I didnt want to chance it with fresh snow on there.

What do I think? It rips! Cant believe how this track hooks up. Only saw about 80 for a short burst but man it sure sounds great and is so easy to ride. Sidehilling is like nothing. Barely need to lean. Does not feel playful and light like Phazer but where Phazer feels like a dirtbike the Viper feels like a Race quad. It is all stock for first few rides. Want to have a comparison. Except for the HID's. Rockmiester these are awesome and the aim seems perfect just out of the box. Very happy and cant wait for more!

That's awesome cannondale!! Looking forward to a full report on that sled once you get some miles on her.. I got to take one for a rip on Saturday, I was impressed, just seemed so easy to ride..been thinking about it ever since..lol

I agree. Thats the biggest thing its so easy to ride. Has got to make a guy faster without even trying. Sound is a close second. I will definitly not be putting a exhaust on. They nailed this one.

I saw the river by the bridge where the trail crosses....watch out there. But other places look flat. Wish I had mine so I could play a little on my land.....should be wrapped by the end of this week.
