I got a 600 grizzly with no spark.

I have the Yamaha shop Manuel and I'm not getting anything on the pickup coil test.
The stator is within specs. The coil is also good

Is that usually what happens when the pick up coil goes, you get no reading at all?

If I change the pick up coil do I have to have the gasket too?
