I just bought some UNI pods which will be in Tuesday and I'm taking my Pro Circut T-4 pipe off my dirtbike and I'm going to weld er to the Phazer.
I'm selling my bike in the spring with the stock pipe so its no loss for me.
I got a few questions how wide is the exhaust? (my sled is locked up in my old mans trailer and I can't really get it out right now) The bike exhaust is just under 1.5" would it even be worth it with a 1.5" exhaust?
If I rmember correctly I'll gain 1-2hp with this right?

pipe is 2'' od i think. you can weld it or just clamp on a reducer. the muffler shouldn't hurt too much because it'll flow better than the stocker.
yes, you should gain a few hp, but mainly the weight reduction.

Step down flange.
Also the pipe is stainless steal, It's thin but you can still weld it. Be carefull not to burn a bunch of holes in it. Buy yourself a pipe reducer and give it a try, Good luck.

Try it out on the R1 pipe and see how it works out. You might get some splatter. Good luck !!!!

It'll work. Just get rid of the flux with a wire wheel later.

I believe that stainless steel is a ferrous metal. Therefore a magnet will stick to it.

Common misconception. Some stainless material is nonmagnetic. All staianless steel, in my experience, are alloys. Some have a higher ferrous content than others. Thus, you will find most inexpensive grades of stainless are slightly magnetic

400 series stainless is magnetic and others can become magnetic with the cold-working required to form thin wall tubing.
Any huu...why would you want to step down and create a restriction in the exhaust?

I'm not sure if it would actually create a restriction cause its more direct. My exhaust is also tunable. I'm pretty sure other guys have done this with 1.5" slip-ons.arteeex said:400 series stainless is magnetic and others can become magnetic with the cold-working required to form thin wall tubing.
