I'm getting the T.O.R.S error code "84" and another one.. "15". Any ideas? Do I disconnect something? :o| Also, The Air/Fuel gauge they send you ... Anybody have any tips for setting this thing up?

This is my first Yamaha sled and I feel like a fish out of water. MPI is closed until Monday and I was hoping to take this sled out for a ride this weekend.

TORS unplugg is in the rubber "cover" by the steering post under the access panel. The only 4 single wire connectors in there, unplug and connect to eachother to complete circuit back to carbs and back to throttle. ***Unhook TORS at your own risk, it's a safety device!***

Air/Fuel gauge, what kind of problems are you having?? I only hooked one up and almost a year ago, I use a different gauge now, but for more tech info I'm sure you could do a search online for WMS Wideband to get help.

Code 84 is tors code 15 is the TPS Open or short Detected........ Tors is common on the boosted Apex's, If you go into the diagnostic Mode you can read tps % there...

If you read all your instructions that came with your boost box it will tell you that codes 84 and 15 will show up from time to time. There is not a fix for this right know MPI says there soon will be and update. They think the reason for the codes is due to the trottle bodys closing much faster with boost. If you read all your instructions on the back of the page on the sheet which tells you how to set up your boost box all info. is there.

I read that but mine comes in right away... It's not an evey once in a while situation. You can't even ride the sled the way it sits. The throttle hangs as well when I'm up in RPM. I'll call MPI tomorrow. Maybe I did something incorrectly... :o|

Codes

Tors will come up with the boosted apexes that is true. The tps should not give you a problem. I had the TORS problem with the mc-xpress i believe it has something to so with the boost holding the throttle plates open for a moment under decelleration.....

That does sound like the issue. I'll disconnect the TORS for now and install a tether. Thanks for the help.
