Yea I know, this sounds bad but it is kinda true. I had such a good time riding with a TYer last week (RX-1liter) that I called him and drove up to New york to ride with him again. This time we brought chicks with us (our wives) and had an absolute blast. So on the way up to meet them my wife says "so we are going to go snowmobiling with a guy you met on the internet and he is bringing his wife?" Sounds bad doesnt it?

It then took me about a hour to try and explain to my wife how we TYer's are helpful and friendly to eachother. She said she understood but until the weekend was over did she really understand. RX-1liters wife had her own sled and let my wife ride it (we were 2 up on mine). My wife didn't really want to ride some strangers sled that she just met. She finally rode it and now all she talks about is getting her own sled. But think about it from RX-1liter's side, here is a perfect stranger, lets let her ride our sled.
What I don't get is how Cubby landed such a nice wife? :moon:

i went riding with "Tuco" and "pwdrnut" from here. parents didnt even ask how i know them...heh.

I was thinking about quiting sledding. Rode for years with my wifes cousins and cabin owners by my father in laws house. They are good friends yes.
But 1 or 2 of them drink until 3-5 AM and they hold up the entire group the next day often not leaving until 11 AM or so.
Plus I am tired of non Y brand sleds that break down far more than the Y sleds. On a 3 day trip We would often lose a day of riding because of problems.
I owe this site a lot. Met some great people. We start at a reasonable time, we cover alot of ground, look out for each other and have a laugh riot at pit stops. All while riding exceptionally reliable equipment.

Sorry about your gas cap BTW

Man, does that sound like DeJaVu (sp)

I invited my Family to Munising for the TY ride, but I didn't say it was an internet ride. It was the TY ride, A YAMAHA CLUB than Yamaha supports! It just sounds better & why shouldn't it?

Everybody I've met from the site are great. Glad TY is here!
