I was riding this weekend and blew my center shock out. Had the yami dealer put a band aid on it by changing some suspension settings. I actually felt that the changes he made had the sled riding better than BEFORE I blew out the center shock!!! Either way I just purchased the rear Ohlin for my sled and haven't put it in yet. The dealer said I need the optional spring for this shock. I am pretty ticked off at HARD RACING for not setting me up properly with my new shock. They went through the motions with asking my weight and riding style blah blah blah... got the shock directly from Ohlin (drop shipped) and ALL THE SETTINGS WERE STANDARD!!!! No 'set up' was done to the shock AND the standard spring is for a rider weight of 155-200 lbs. Well, I'm 225 without my gear on. Ok, so who knows where I can get this optional spring for my brand new 'set up' shock!!!???

No kidding? Huh... well I hope mine is the same! I've gotta admit I was a little bummed when I saw the set up tag and it read STD - STD - STD!
On a lighter note, how do you like the shock? Would you rate it as a good upgrade?
