I ordered 2 clutches at the same time to make sure I had one for the next trip.
That's why I have an extra.

As I understand it, the new one (this one is the new model) doesn't change much except it is smoother and doesn't have the weakness of the origional Yamaha part.

The prior model tended to work well, but lose a couple mile an hour at top end.
(Personally, Id rather it work all the time and not fall apart, than gain a couple mile an hour on top!)

The new one is lighter and slightly larger diameter, should be same as stock.

These are the recommendations I gleaned from people on this site.

54-38 .46 helix with red/black spring

or

Straight 34 degree on the rx1 with 125-175 spring

You do Not need the extra cut(ER model) for the Electronic Reverse as the yamahas do not have electronic reverse.
