Did you run the full length? How did you attach it? Rivets? Digit also help with the tail light snow build up?
The sheet runs up the the middle supports for the tunnel protector rails. It leaves the header section of the exhaust open for cooling. Also, there is a 1/2" gap between the turned up edges and the underside of the tunnel.
Thanks Arteeex,
I got this template from a TY member last year and have it made next step installing it on the new XTX...
Just thought I would say thanks for creating the template and sharing it.

SB stands for Schmidt Bros. I coated the tunnel with a brush and did 3 coats of ice-free. Put second coat on as soon as you are done with first no more than 5 mins between coats. There was enough left to coat the rear deck and supsension.I dont think you really need the tunnel closer. The ice free is great stuff.

rkeener, does the ice free stuff work that well? Does the ice fall off in large chunks or does it just come off as soon as it hits? I am tired of hearing my buddies complain about the " ice logs" that roll out of the back of the tunnel. I currently run an under tunnel exhaust and it helps but I would love to shut them guys up!

I think the crazy carpet should work great also. Even if it did get some build up, it wouldn't be nearly as difficult to remove the ice. I know I have often had to break out the chisel and hammer to get rid of it. Sometimes I swear it must add a 100lbs to the sled.
Does the OFT partial block off plate restrict icing??

I'd be tempted to use a bonding product on a crazy carpet rather than rivets. My only worry would be ice/water getting under it and adding up between the layers, eventually ripping it off.
Having said that^ I'd rather use the paint on stuff. Someone contact them and maybe they'll do a group buy for us.

How ice free paint comes with that kit on their website? It says "ample solution to coat 1 pair of snowmobile runningboards". And it only comes in spray? I thought it was mentioned above it was brushed on?
