Ice ripper track 1.25 Like it??

iceripper

I went from a studded finger track to Iceripper 1.25 this year. Got around 900 miles on it. I found that it works pretty much as advertised. Not quite as good as studs on very icy stuff. I am getting better traction on hard pack than previous so I am happy with the change.

Thanks Im looking to the same thing,,get off the old cone track with studs.

After having a stud break halfway out last year and cut open my cooler I put my original unstuded one back on. Because I have been on studs for years altho I didnt need them all the time I found it unnerving when the conditions were icy.. I did like the fact that I had improved throtle response because of the lower weight of the track altho of course it would spin more easily. I ended up putting 96 studs in this one just for a little piece of mind. I was thinking the ice ripper might work for me. With it being 1.25 and having the ice tips just enough to maintain control on those ocasional icy hills.

Thanks for the imput!!

Tony

I have ice rippers on both wifes vector and my attak, love this track. it is defianately not a ice dragger, but for trail riding and that extra traction on icy trails, it really works.

as a bonus, where the little built in studs are, it fills a gap or two with rubber in the rip saw design, thus, i feel it works even better in the hard pack and way better off trail than a stock ripsaw

and no worries about losing studs.... wifes has almost 2000 miles and looks new, mine has 1100 and the same.
