ICE UNDER TUNNEL

I rode 600 miles on trails this weekend and there was very minimul ice build up. There was no heat issues and all was well. When I got done riding for the day I would just bounce the sled and reach up and remove a few pieces of ice and then in the morning go 5 feet in reverse before taking off for the day.

We rode Saturday in 15 degree weather and lots of ice build up in the tunnel. Sunday it was 35 degrees and no ice at all. I think the colder it is the more ice you will see.

Dare I say DUH

We only did a little over 100 miles on Saturday. Temps ranged between 0* and -5*F. There was about 15" of new snow. Ice happened but it was easy to knock off. I don't get why people complain so much about such a simple thing to manage.

I do the same thing. at the end of the day I pick the sled up and drop it. I also keep a rubber mallet just to knock it off. better in the evening than the morning
