Hey all, I along with many others dread the classic, "how tall of a riser can i use" type posts, however I now find myself in a similar situation!
I have just ordered the brake, throttle, parking brake and kill switch cables from Yamaha for their MTX, to install on my 2010 XTX. The MTX has a 6" riser stock, with about 1" of bar rise, so about 7" total. The XTX however has a higher bar sweep than that. I will need a pivot adapter of course, which is typically 1.5" correct?
I am wondering what the best combination of riser and pivot you guys would suggest for me! I ride lakes and trails about 70% of the time, but would like something to help me out in the powder.
