idle question

after summer storage engine starts ok but idle does not repeat . if i blip the throttle it does not return sometimes stays 3000maybe 4000 rpm . i think i have a safety problem. thanks for any help

Time to clean the carbs. Pay specific attention to the pilot jets. You may have to run a strand of wire or a bristle off a wire brush through them. This is not to say cleaning the rest of the carb is NOT important. It is just that your problem is most-likely in the Pilots.

Use the e-emergency brake when starting, until you are sure you have the problem fixed. We had one take off by itself the other day.
