Isn't there any bolts to remove and then take the wheels out? Maybe you can post a picture. I've never seen wheels that were difficult to remove except for the uppers that are pressed on a shaft.

The 05 Vector skid with those 2 inside front wheels is different from all the other skids except the 06 & 07 Nytro. To remove those wheels was kind of a pain if I remember right. I pulled the skid and had to separate the rails to remove the shaft they are mounted on. It was so long ago that I did this that it's hard to remember exactly how I did it. I replaced my skid with a ZX2 many years ago.

Removing the whole skid was the easiest for me to change out the all plastic wheels... This was mainly to drill out the stripped set screw in the spacers and also replace all the oem wheels with the newer style with replaceable bearings and add a fourth wheel...

Mark the spring setting on the middle shock and then unwind the shock spring until there is no tension. Lift off the torsion springs on each side from the outer wheels and remove the outside wheels along with the aluminum housings. Make sure the rear is off the ground on something to hold it up. The rest should should be easy. The allen screws help you to first turn one bolt out and then the other bolt out so you can change out the inner wheels. The suspension is very easy to take out but you can change the inner wheels with the suspension still in the sled.

I use a 6" c-clamp by hooking it on the rail & putting the end of the clamp against the spring.. tighten, then remove the bolt from the wheel and the spring stays put.. Simply repeat for the other side.. MM.
