I have a 2009 Apex MTX. Some of the idler wheels sound rough. Can not change the bearing b/c Yamaha in all their wisdom decided to use a wheel that can not have the bearing changed. Broke one last year , $65 from Yamaha. I think ones with changeable bearings will work on the four on the outside of the rail( borrowed from a SRX) even though the bearing is a little wider. What about the two on the bottom of the front arm shock? The big ones on the back and top of the scisor are okay for now. Any suggestions on those? Thanks

All these are new Yamaha wheels with replacable bearings, every wheel you see has them.

Yep, they're the new Yamaha wheels that come on all 2010 sleds

My '07 Apex skid, after a trip to HalfBaked for a Beef-Up Kit, and all new updated wheels and bearings, and bushings, a 4th wheel kit, and revalved mono, and a set of SlideKicks.

will those all fit an 06 apex gt, directly bolt-on? Nice looking skid BTW.

Nick, have you used those slideKicks before, if so, how do you like them?

I am thinking about getting a set of these?

I haven't tried them yet, but I have friends that had them, and they were happy with them.

Just edited my post above yours, those are the ones I am thinking about getting?

Nice looking wheels...I think I am gunna get some of those...slidekicks, you will like them..probably not at good as the solid wire ones, well at least until you back up and then they are much better..I like them better then the yamaha ones for two reasons. One replacable tips. and two you can adjust how much pressure by turning the angle of your set up. I don't think you can do that with the yamaha ones.

I have a set of eye bolts that I'm going to mount on the rails to stick the ends in, so I don't wear a trench in the rails......LOL ....I saw the picture that someone posted. I like what you can do with this set much better than the straight wire type. I have an extra set of tips for them also. Its nice to have them if you need them.

Here are mine on my Turbo Apex stretched to 136.

all nice... but the original question was for an apex MTX with 6005 innner bearings/comes with wheel mount.. (same a 07-09RTX) and nytro suspensions...

to the question.... the "wider" wheels with 6205 bearings will not work in the centre.... without mods...
