I know my buddy has ther same sled as mine that is all stock except for clutching and gearing and he's only about a sled maybe a sled and a half behind me at wot!!! not much difference if you ask me for the amount of money in aftermarket my sled has on it??

for what it will cost you for the controller i think you will find the gains to be minimal unless you are in the future gonna use NOS or throw a hair dryer on it?? If I was starting over with a new sled again id just do what my buddy did and just clutch and gear it he's made alot of gains with his sled for 1000.00 investment ... as with my sled i boughtr mine with all the mods done so i didnt have that massive investment into all those parts and looking at it now for what mine is compared to his i find it to be a waste of money for the littyle bit of gains i see over his

That doesnt seem right to me unless your clutching is off. I know my last sled was an 09 xtx all stock with heel clickers, 1.75 backcountry and gytr exhaust was exactly the same as my wifes uncles apex mtx in 500ft. This year although it is a different sled i absolutely kill that sled. I mean kill it. I would have to say its because of my mods.

You need to get the front end down and get the energy going forward instead of up. Ski's off the ground is all you need for max transfer and a flater chasis is more efficient than front way off the ground.poleclimber said:Fyi I lost that race. ^^^
Well thats the track changing. Earlier in the day it was hard as a rock and needed max transfer...this pic is from late afternoon after they groomed so there was a lot of traction at that moment. Man made snow is tricky to deal with...

The ignition module will mostly gain you in the top end (9000 rpm & up). See this old post by dirkdiggler about his testing with the Ignition Module setup by us and a combination of mods.

Am I correct in saying that the ING Module just advances timing?
If so and you have already done the timing key mod and you add this module would you realy see any gains?

A timing key won't work on the FX Nytro. The ignition pulse is picked up off of a gear on the clutch side of the crankshaft that is hooked directly to the crank, no key to adjust it.
