Hello. New to me 03 rx1 the previous owner lost the key and went cutting the wire and installed a button style switch (they cut the connecter off the sled. I’m not good with tracing wires. Could someone explain in simple terms what wire works what on the New key assembly

Im not 100% sure what colour does what but I believe there is only 4 wires and they SHOULD be.. 1 Ground, 1 Power ( always live), 1 accessory power that is live once the machine is running ( Key in run position) and 1 power for the starter solenoid( Key in start position). You should be able to find the ground and main power easy enough with a tester. I would then send power to the other to that are left. 1 should crank the machine 1 should turn on accessories.
