I'm BACK.................AND I have a question!

After taking the summer off of the forum (and running back and forth to the U.P. several times.........mainly because Mrs. Buddah decided to spend the summer here AGAIN), I decided to see what was going on here now that we're into Sept.

Now....to my question: anybody have a good contact to get the exhaust tips chromed? I'm here in the U.P. for at least 2 weeks and since the sled's here, I could send them out without too much hassle. I tried the "polish the %^&$ out of them" approach last spring but my results were somewhat less than impressive SO...........I decided maybe chrome would be better.

Any suggestions welcomed (other than, of course, to shove them......... )

I think Cubby cancelled his second run at chroming the tips but someone else on this forum posted this link. Apparently, they can do vacuum chroming. Here is the link to the post
