My RTX SE is ordered. In red. I would have chose the LTX, but we NEED to run studs around here. I am not going to stud a 1.5" lug track. We ride on frozen groomed, and ice here in New England 85% of the time, and it gets bumpy quick.
Going from a 121x15x1", to a 129x15x1.25" is going to be a major upgrade already, and I can lightly stud it for safety.

The only model with more than a 1.25" track is the XTX SE

This is out of the new Yamaha and Viper brochures and also the tracks they had on them at the demo ride I went to.

Just checked on the Ripsaw ll availability, and there isn't a 1.5" listed. Interesting. Yamaha should change their specs on the site ASAP!

Because there will always be those consumers who want to have the latest version of something. I am talking about everything from electronics to automobiles to recreational vehicles like snowmobiles. The people who want to have the latest versions of something want to appear cool and trendy. However many times the price to be paid for having the first of something is being unwittingly enlisted in the process of working the bugs out of whatever it is they bought. I am fine with that because I know better than to be a first model year buyer. I also know that there will be plenty of others who will be the guinea pigs that help to make the subsequent model year a better product for those of us who know to wait.
