The spring tension on the front shocks. backed off the nuts so that no threads were showing.

I rode it bone stock and was pleasantly surprised. It did push alot in corners, and that was easily fixed by moving the 2" carbides to the outside and adding 6" carbides to the inside. Stock there is no outer carbide, just a wear bar.
a 4" lake effect riser and OFT relocator, and I love the sled.
I don't think the newer Nytros with tuner skis need a fraction of what the older ones did to handle properly.
Great choice in sleds and color. Mine is identical.
What kind of deal you score?
I'll agree, with the exception that an XTX still needs the star linkage kit, and being a bit thicker, my shocks needed revalving. RTX should be fine without it. I had push (in powder) and darting (groomed trails) issues but I just took the spring adjustment down to 0 up front, and that solved everything.
I love this sled, and only toying with changing the Trailtank out to a Tour Buddy... can't decide. It's not a sit and ride sled like an Apex though. You're gonna have to actually ride it.
Absolutely not a side and ride sled. Most any rider forward sleds seem to take more rider input to get them to corner. I prefer it that way. I don't want to go for a sleepy cruise through the woods LOL.
Why the change from trailtank?

No reason other than I want to use a tank storage bag and most of the ones that are specific to the nytro are designed to use the two plastic side pieces that you take off when you go with the TT, and mount to the tunnel, but can't reach because the TT is taller. I guess I should probably just look around for a storage bag that will work with the TT... It'll be a summer time decision I guess.
