I was wondering about some handling improvements for the average Yamaha Apex. Obviously this post could become a beast of its own and that is not what I am after, so I will ask some specific questions, but feel free to add in any specific fixes.

The first thing that I am wondering about is the limiter strap, how far form stock do you guys usually run?
The second is weight transfer on the rear shock, what position are you commonly running at?
Next are skis/carbides, with stock skis what do you prefer the slim jim or dually set up, what after market skis work best and what types of carbides are necessary on them?
Any other tips/tricks?

This is on an 06 Apex ER if that make any difference.

Thanks for any advice you guys might have,
Jimmy

p.s. I am not trying to beat a dead horse here, I looked, unsuccessfully, to find a post similar to this. Not saying it isn't there, just post a link and save some cyber space :rocks:
