Problem started a few weeks back, started great before this. Dealer thinks Valve Adjustment, I guess I'm hoping something easier. I tried un hooking battery trick and switching relays
Here is scenario;

1. I turn the key it starts fine and idles normal (12 seconds)
2. It idles for 12 seconds normal then begins to idle lower until it stalls
3. Will now not start without giving it gas
4. It will start and idle really rough almost like it's running on 2 cylinders
5. It will only stay running if I keep the rpm over 3000
6. If keep the rpm over 3000 until the coolant temp is over 70 it will now idle normal
7. If I drive it after it's warmed up it drives normal and starts normal

NEED HELP and suggestions. thanks in advance

What mileage?

This may give you something to chew on while you wait for others to chip in but I saw your other posts that tell me you have been at this for a while. If you have gone down the path of plugs, fresh gas, and the other thing suggested previously it does start to point to the valves.

Mine at 10k had 4 of 6 exhaust out of spec. Two were down to 0.002”. Other two were .006 and .004.

Had trouble with my 2016 LTX-DX only running at 3000 rpms and over. Trailered it to the dealer and was about to show him when he noticed my throttle was to tight. he played with the cable and turns out the TORS was causing the problem..throttle has the right amount of play in it again. Started and ran perfect after a 30 second fix. My sled had tipped over on the right side and knocked the cable out of whack. Now I know to check that if the sled has been tipped over on the throttle side!!! Love a cheap fix!!!
