Hey guys, My inner idler wheels on my 2006 Apex have once again bit the bullet, what aftermarket idlers are you guys using on your sleds? I am tired of the Yamaha ones, they don`t seem to last and are very expensive!
Thanks boys!!

Here's what Ive been using with great success, the only thing is you have to get your mounts machined .060 to allow for the IDLER to centre between the COGS for the inner rear mounts only the outside ones in front don't need to be altered, 'cause of the larger bearing width and you can also REPLACE the bearings "6205"

I have 3 years on these so far with little wear.

It's also a good idea to switch to the ski doo rear idler mounts. They use a extra mounting bolt in the bottom of the rail. My rails have both cracked because of the flex of the single bolt. I'll post some pics of the support plates/ ski doo brackets soon!

I switched to the Slydog Bogies on the inside and they work great. I went through two sets of the Yamaha ones in about 1K miles. The Slydogs have made it 800 so far without a problem.
I will suggest switching out the front four as well if your going to change the rears. Mine didn't delaminate like the back ones but two were bent and two had shot bearings (non-replaceable). I ended up putting the Yammi spoke wheels in place of them.

I switched to these last year. Direct replacement.

Put 5500 miles on them last year without any problems. They have replaceable bearings and I'm replacing all 6 of them to start out this year. A couple of them are rough.
I never had an original wheel delaminate with 7600 miles on them, but the bearings are not replaceable.
