Wow, great tip Ted!

I have an lc1 and xd16 with over 1500miles on my sled and it was installed in my car before that. Biggest problem with them is you have to wire them properly and have good grounds. A few times i have had to let the heater warm up before starting the machine as i was getting an error. As far as i know Innovate is the only wide band that gives an error when it not working properly. I prfer to get an error message over a bogus reading and frying a set of pistons. One other problem that might be occuring on some installs is the exhaust is getting to hot and the sensor is over heating. In these cases a extension is used to help cool the sensor. Hope this helps.

I've had no problems with my Innovate LC-1, XD-16 and Bosch sensor the last 2 seasons. I don't run leaded fuels, the sensor is installed at 10 O'clock. I have the grounds connected at 2 different places in the bulkhead frame, about 20 centimeters apart.
