what about those ice ripper tracks. i was thinking about putting one on my 03 rx-1. was trying to keep the top end and traction down low and braking

I am extending my 05 rx to 136 with an expert-x and will be getting an ice ripper

i was hoping to ride it like there were no picks through the trails as far as beng able to push the tail through the turns, but also be able to stop and keep control on lakes at high speed.

For a trail/touring type track, the ripsaw does an OK job. But we found for snowdrags, the performance is not there. I put a 1.25 Ripsaw on a SRX and we lost about 2 sled lengths in a 500' snowdrag, compared to a stock Bombardier 1.25 take off, that came off a REV. So we switched back to the Bombardier track.
So in my humble opinion. the ripsaw is a great trail/touring track, but I wouldn't look for a lot of performance, as far as hooking up, when taking off..
I also found the "teeth" on the ripsaw are easily sheared off, if you spin your track on an ICY trail...
