I was looking for a set of Wide arms for my MTX and came across a screaming deal on complete set of LOW mileage GT arms for 300$ which included the spindles, bushings, tierods! Now here is my issue, I KNEW when I purchased them that my Dogbone swaybar would not work so I'm trying to decided which way to go. For some reason they didn't have the GT swaybar although they had most of the sled minus the engine and plastics. I have the means and skills to fabricate and weld some brackets on the GT arms so I can use my dogbone swaybar OR I can just order up a GT swaybar. I'm just wondering isthe dogbone is a better style?

Are there mounts on the new arms for the swaybar? I dont know much about the "dogbone" one. How much off is the bar? I am guessing too short?

Ya, I got the mounts with the arms for the GT sway. The GT bar is shaped different then the dogbone bar and is designed to slide in the the arm mounts. The Dogbone style is setup for bolting the "dogbone" link that connects it to the arms.

I would actually prefer the GT style mount since it allows more independent action and is more progressive.Only complaint I ever heard about it is that it squeaks.

i was wondering the same myself. mine squeeks a little but once the sled is started, you can't hear it. i had a tough time finding a replacement lower for my gt within a good price. everything was mostly for the dogbone.

side note for blue, my shocks (maybe yours you sold me) are 15.5". so if i did get them from you, they're in a good home. much appreciated too.
