installing a coolant heater on 2008 apex.

I have had a hard time starting the 2008 apex at 10-15 below or colder. My yamaha dealer advised adding their in-line coolant heater. How easy is it to install? any advice? also planning on adding a battery trickle charger?

There easy to add, how old is the Battery in your sled.

X2 on easy to install heater. Remember to leave plugged in overnight. If you plug in for only a short time, sled may actually start hard, as it messes with coolant temp sensor vs. actual temp.......or so I have heard.

2008 apex battery reccomendations

My battery is 4-5 years old. what should i replace it with? recdcomendations?
