Installing Meth on Nytro

i posted this thread last year after my meth install
http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=72142&highlight=

I have since added the MPI nytro cold air kit which typically relocates the filter above the clutch guard which would not work b/c of my water meth tank. I turned my cold air intake tube 90degrees so it points straight up and my filter actually exits through the vent in the side panel now which leaves room for my meth tank.

How many miles do you get out of that meth tank, and at what poundage/type of riding?

In all honesty I could not put an exact mileage on it as I did the install late in the season and from that point on just rode the sled and had a hell of a good time. I was going through the tank fairly quickly which was more than likely from not having the system dialed in to perfection and spraying to much meth.

i was running 16-17psi of mainly long lake runs and aggressive trail

i've got my meth kit above the clutch guard still and my intake tube like this

This was just a preliminary fitting session in this photo

can you fab up some brackets and mount the meth tank above the charge tube or do you run into height restrictions?

It is hard to find the room for the meth tank on a Powderlites Nytro due to the charge tube.We have a pic on our web site in the gallery of a custom meth tank that we built for a Powderlites Nytro. It worked very well

I ended up having mine mounted to the back of my tunnel. I added a tunnel extension, and am making an aluminum box to cover it, and only showing the black cap through the top. Pic's will be coming. Had to add a turn out to my exhaust though

I have my meth tank built will post picture tomorrow. I have to put the intercooler to istall injectors in it. I am sure I must remove the intercooler to make sure no filing fall into it. What are your thoughts do you need to pull intercooler to drill and tap it?
