O.K. here it goes. Last week I installed the anti-rub shock bolt onto my ApexGT. All I did was unweight the rear suspension by gradually lifting the weight off of the rear skid using a come-along hung from the ceiling wrapped around my rear bumper. Once the right amount of "set-in" was taken up, the stock bolt slid right out.
Now I'm doing my 07 ApexER. I've gone through the same procedure, but no matter what I do with the come-along, tension remains on the bolt. Am I missing something? Thanks Jay

Try unhooking the transfer rod and then lift it off the ground with your come along.
