I'm looking at buying a white knuckle exhaust for my rx1, but can decide weather I want the QC-1 or the GP-1 any idea how loud the GP-1 is
they say the QC-1 is almost like stock is it?
they also say the GP-1 is loud is it?

I have the QC-1. It's louder than stock but still good for trail. The GP-1 is for drag racing setups as it is very loud.

I run the QC-1...it is almost to loud for me. Its fine at higher speeds but at low speeds it is pretty annoying.

I'm running the GP-1 and it is pretty damn loud, gets really annoying on long rides and scares kids when you fire it up, I also had to switch to 140 mains

if you don't want to wear earplugs while riding I'd get the QC-1

I have the QC-1, and left my jetting stock. Still trail friendly. Also have the AP-3, for the Attak, but will install this week.

GP-1 is for racing, but can be used for trail with a turbo. The turbo muffles a lot of the noise.

I have the QC-1 and like it. It is louder than stock.
I like the sound.

Go with the qc-1 it is a nice sounding pipe imo, gp-1 was just to dam loud tried them both.

QC-1 is the only way to go for trail riding. NOS PRO runs a GP-1 on his Nitrous equipted RX-1 and it is LOUD. I can hook you up with either one. Call 715-340-0554...BBY

exhaust

What are the main advantages (other than sound difference) to changing the exhaust? How much gain would you get in hp or speed? Can you just add it if you have clutching and filters or do you have to change jetting, etc? I do already like the sound my Rx-1 has from the filters, but if I can add any speed that's always a plus.
