Is someone has the real spec for o5 mountain clutching

Oops sorry, I misread the question. I thought you were asking what rollers you needed.

The '03 has 16.5 05's came with 14.5

we finally got a little (very little) snow and I was out checking out my new clutching (05 specs). I definitely have better "out of the hole" acceleration, but I seem to be reving awful high at top end. It seems like its bouncing well above 11000. Is that possible? Isn't there some over rev limiter or something? I thought I read on posts that I shouldn't wee over 10300.

You shouldn't wee up wind either ;)!

You are correct you should be around 10,300. The rev limiter should kick in around 11,000.

I called a dealer tody to check on these parts, WOW!!!!

Are the weights actually $49.95 each?
the rollers $40.95 each?

There must be a better place to get them, what are you paying and where are you getting them.

Are the weights that Bender sells the same? Part number CLW8BU??

Is there anywhere else to get rollers?

Thanks, Lance

I think I paid about $170 for the all the weights, rollers, and springs. I had a $150 gift certificate, so it didn't seem so expensive. I had priced the stuff in Mountain Performance catalog and my dealer was actually a little cheaper. .....I went for another ride and I'm definitely bumping up to 11k. I am going to install a heavier rivet in the outer hole tomorrow and see if it makes a difference.

Lean on your dealer a little. He can do much better than that ;)!

I could deal with the $170 that kachess mentioned, but I wasn't ready for the $300 that that was coming to. For that price, I could just as well but a clutch kit from hartman, MPI, or someone like that.

Jeez--you can get a set of weights for my 1M for $50!
