- 2011 apex er
I know besides 7 ' is there that much differece. I have been looking at the xtx but have recently been offered a 2011 apex with a 128' track at a steal. should I wait for a good buy on a xtx (longer track) or pick up the 128" I run mostly groomed trails and am running on a 2007 with a short track.

I liked the xtx when I test rode it. The studders all but disappeared

How much of a difference and price, and what size track did you ride before. Yes Xtx will bridge and be more of a couch and bounce around a little less then a shorty, but if you are used to a shorty and the deal is that great it is up to your preference. Want shorter to flick around a bit more, or longer to ride the bumps?

Has anyone found the 136 tending to push in the corners?

grab the deal. you can ride it and if not happy you can stretch it out in the future.

Yes it does. I had a 136" gt with Simmons skis, and dual 8"" carbides and it still pushed. Went to a 128 now on my new Nytro to keep up with the doos in the corners. The 136 apex was great on the fire lanes or lakes but to much in the corners for my style of riding

Go for the 128er and if you want to extend later on you can very easily. I was in the same situation I had a Apex LTX that I totaled and wanted the XTX but found my new to me 2011 SE with only 1800 miles for less than 9K so I couldn't pass it up. Only 110 miles so far but a awesome machine and how I figured it I saved about 2500 to 3000 cash if I would have gone with the XTX so far I think I made the right decision. Especially since the SE goes for almost 15K new

- 2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
I rode a 03 Vmax 121" then got my 136 attak. Big difference in rideing. Attak handled much better period. I don't care about sharp corners and speed. I get the crap scared out of me by guys who do that and are on my side of the trail to boot.
I'll never go back.
