Had a little bit of a bad day. Got the machine stuck and really spun down to mud trying to get out-- bad soft conditions. When I got out the thing out drove 10ft and died for about an hour. Would only start a little @ 1/2 choke so I thought fuel problem. After tearing things apart then putting them back together (1 hour) cranked it and it fired right up??? Guess I loaded it up who knows. After getting going again I heard a high ptiched noise (25- 35MPH) from what sounded like the front of the track. Conditions were extremely soft so was that the howl, so is that normal "howl" or did I screw something up spinning the hell out of it? Is it normal or am I just paranoid from the bad experience? Just annoying high pitched whine.

Crappy winter in PA so sometimes but decided to ride rather then just moaning and staying home.

The howl I hear is a lower pitched droning noise. You may have a bearing going watch closely.

Thanks for the input guys. Thought the howl was lower pitched.

I'm bring it back as it is still under warranty.

What sled do you have? I have an RS Venture 2005, that has a tractor tire for a track. Which is definitely loud.

'05 Vector. Whining as I call it isn't real high pitched but it isn't a droning howl either. I asked was it the howl because folks on the site say they have it in hardpacked. I was in real soft snow. I also don't remember if it was there before I spun it out of the dirt. Going back to dealer next week.
