Talked to a dealer this morning and he said on the 2007 models and up you no longer can pack the bearings with grease in the bogey wheels. I havent been able to check yet but has anyone else run into this problem. If this is the case im thinking of just going to an aftermarket wheel so I can service them myself.

Most of the OEM are NOT serviceable '05 up to '08...I'll post you some YAM idler that are, they match the exact rear large axle wheels and use a "6205" bearing that are common and cheap to buy...the only thing when using "6205" you have to machine the rear INNER idler mounts so they centre align track cogs.

Check out centre right of page in link below, STYLE "B" 5.125" I've run with these with very good results and while last for ever...

ran into the same problem

found a place in hamilton that supplies the koyo bearings, going to buy a 12 ton press from princess auto and press them in myself, dont feel like buying new wheels everytime the bearing go. I tried repacking them but I dont trust the seal after you reinsert it. the press is 179 dollars from princess auto, will pay for itself in no time. need to repack four wheels on my sled, buy the time I buy the press and wheel bearings , it will still be cheaper than buying 4 new wheels. send me a pm if you want the name of the place in hamilton.

If you are talking about pressing out bearings from the original factory wheels, I think you will find they are molded into the wheel. Pressing them out will just destroy the wheel. The accessory wheels have a circlip that you you remove to replace the bearing.

I grease my 07's bearings using a grease gun needle tip and/or pop the seal out of them. Still run as smooth as silk. Just can't replace the bearing or wheel if either goes bad.
