Logged over 12,500 miles with mine and so far so good.. I did just put the starter saver in my sled this year. Love the key as people look at me weird when I pull it out to start the sled.

When I bought my 08 it had a universal key assembly that was put in it in Quebec after someone tried to steal it and previous owners key would not work any more.So I put in a new Yamaha key assembly in it.I have one of the jackknife keys in my 06 apex and they are the same keys.So anyhow I switched key in my sleds.
