Just got the parts to switch out that pressed in collar on the 03 RX-1 jackshaft.....Can anyone tell me which way the nut bearing (8FA-17642-00-00) goes onto the collar (8FA-17645-10-00)…The collar seems to have a thin locking ring.....does it get threaded on last????

The lock-ring goes on the same way as the plastic on a regular locknut. Flat side of the nut against the bearing.

It's the same bearing. The retaining collar is different, and a new nut retains it. It should be easy to see,if you compare the'03 and'04 parts exploded diagrams. You may not need all the extra washers.
