A friend of mine got a new left over 2017 btx from the dealer dec 2017. Today lost the jackshaft bearing only 3500km. That seam real fast. I got 18500 on mine and it still going.
Have anyone lost a jackshaft bearing that fast?
The worst par we were 35km from the nearest road. so we nursed it out. Took the secondary of 4 times and put gear oil on what was left of the bearing.

No but I can see it happening as nasty as it gets. Seems to suck dirt in!.
