Just want to make sure that i am not missing something...talked to Skydog on the phone earlier and he got me pointed in the right direction, but as with everything else on this sled that's OEM, its stuck beyond belief. I have the chaincase removed, secondary removed, and the snap ring removed from the jackshaft bearing. I tried hitting the jackshaft from the chaincase side with a big plastic hammer, and then stuck a bolt though the middle of the shaft and hit it with a rivet gun. NOTHING has budged. Do i just need to continue this process or am i totally missing something?!

There are 2 set screws holding that bearing in. did you loosen them.

There is NO set screws holding anything on the jackshaft. If you have an 03 remove the snap ring from secondary side then proceed hit with a block of wood and hammer from the chaincase side. Be sure to remove the top gear and watch for the bushing and washer behind the chaincase side bulkhead while hitting toward the secondary. You may need a puller to remove the tapered bearing from secondary side.
