I have one from a RX for sale if you need one. I think they are the same though, check the part number from port yamaha online and see if they are the same.
the bearings that support the shaft are the same and the basic chassis is almost identical so i would say yes

The 05 Rx has the same part number as an apex. The 03-04 is different. I sold an apex shaft to a guy and he needs it for an 04, and he said the apex one is longer. Only thing I can think of is the 05 rx received the new 4 pot caliper so maybe they had to move the rotor outward and make shaft longer.
