When you upgrade from the 03 jackshaft collar to the 04 locking collar, is it just the two threaded pieces (callar and ring) that you need to order? Some of the washers have different part numbers in 04 but I see no reason for them to change.

THose are spacer washers on the 03. The 05 parts were consolidated to the one updated washer for the new collar. At least that is what I was told

There were three washers in 03 and two in 05. I was told a lot of different things too, some people said not to order the 05 washers because the overall thickness was the same but I have both sets and there are differences. I would use the recommended parts from each set up according to the Yamaha diagrams.

i think you are looking at the washer that are use to adjust offset and they cone in different sizes i think thay there are 3 different sizes of different thickness
